CMC Recycling Augusta has been recycling scrap metal for over 20 years, continually working to provide top level service to all our customers. In addition to maintaining a clean facility and offering an efficient and convenient experience at our recycling yard, we provide transparency and easy access to our recycling information. This includes weight reports as well as scrap metal education for the various grades of metal so you can earn the most money for your scrap.
We serve Columbia, Richmond, Burke, Jefferson, and McDuffie counties in the state of Georgia. We serve Aiken, Edgefield, and Barnwell counties in the state of South Carolina. You will find our facility off Gordon Highway on Old Savannah Road, right across the railroad tracks.

If you are selling HVAC equipment or catalytic convertors, you must have a contractor’s or business license in order for your material to be processed. The only exception is providing a receipt for new air conditioning units or catalytic convertors, proving that you replaced the old ones.
