We Don't Accept
- Hazardous waste (including asbestos)
- PCB/Transformers/Capacitors
- Any CFCs
- Ballasts without manufacturer’s sticker indicating “NO PCB”
- Cylinders or other containers of compressed gas (including propane), unless container is split in half
- NiCad-Batteries
- Radioactive materials
- Mercury / mercury switches
- PCB containing materials such as capacitors or light ballasts (w/o “NO PCB” sticker)
- Lead iron pipes
- Sealed containers
- Liquids of any type (i.e. materials containing excess or free flowing oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, or other hydrocarbons)
- Microwaves
- Flammable materials
- Trash, garbage, concrete, excessive dirt and other non-recyclable items
- Broken, cracked, or leaking batteries
- Office machines and electronic equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, computers and monitors
- Materials with strong or objectionable odors
- Materials containing asbestos
- Drums, tanks, or other containers that have residues on or in them (unless completely cleaned in accordance with applicable laws and CMC’s prior approval)
- Accumulators that have not been decommissioned
- Munitions, bullets or explosives
